Welcome to Winterfest Burtonsville - a time-honored tradition marking over a quarter-century of weaving together the talents of local makers and the hearts of our neighbors. Winterfest has evolved into a curated craft event featuring local artisans that bring quality handmade treasures and specialty food items. It has drawn generations of families that come looking for unique holiday gifts, while enjoying the festive cheer and community spirit.
Our Community Journey
Winterfest began 25 years ago in the welcoming halls of the Catholic Church of the Resurrection. For years, it served as a cornerstone 2-day holiday event and grew to draw as many as 1,800 shoppers. When the original organizers could no longer host, the congregation at Liberty Grove United Methodist Church stepped up to take the baton beginning in 2024. Today, we proudly continue this beloved legacy, keeping one of Burtonsville’s favorite traditions thriving.
